Abstract

Objective: To study the contents of 7 active ingredients in the volatile oil of 9 kinds of Amomi Fructus from different real estate herbs, and to provides a reference for the effective control of the quality of Amomi Fructus. Methods: The contents of 7 active components in the volatile oil of Amomi Fructus were determined by Gas Chromatography. The contents of limonene, laurene, ben-pinene, and camphor were determined by external standard method; borneol acetate, camphor, and borneol acetate were determined by one test and multiple evaluation method, and borneol acetate was used as internal reference. Results: The determination results of the above 7 active ingredients in 9 kinds of Amomi Fructus were between 0.319 5 and 3.688 0, 0.101 1 and 1.808 0, 0.116 9 and 0.430 0, 0.450 5 and 3.733 0, 0.454 8 and 13.150 0, 0.290 1 and 1.641 0, 1.661 0 and 10.410 0 mg/g, respectively. Conclusion: The method used in this study is simple and quick, with good applicability and specificity. It is suitable for the determination of the content of each active ingredient in the volatile oil of Amomi Fructus, which is conducive to the formulation and improvement of relevant quality standards.
